Iran's Revolutionary Guard on Wednesday said the 10 U.S. sailors being held for trespassing into territorial waters will likely be released soon. Gen. Ali Fadavi, Navy chief of the Guard, said the "Investigation shows that entry of American sailors into Iran's territorial waters was due to mechanical problems in their navigation system and that issue is being resolved." Iran detained two U.S. navy boats in the Gulf after they strayed into Iranian waters. The incident comes just days before the anticipated implementation of the landmark nuclear accord.
