Iran to Blast Monkey Into Space

Here's an interesting way for a country to boast its missile arsenal: Iran is planning to launch a monkey on a rocket as part of a series of tests run by its space agency, and has succeeded in capturing the attention of Western countries. Last year Iran conducted a similar procedure, sending a rocket carrying a mouse, a turtle, and worms to the cosmos. Though Iran denies it is developing a nuclear weapon and says it's only trying to develop energy-producing reactors, the U.S. and its allies are anxious that the country could be using its space agency's technology to produce powerful nuclear missiles.
