An assassin shot and killed Iran's deputy industry minister on Sunday in Tehran, according to the country's state news agency. Police believe someone traveling with Safdar Rahmat Abadi shot the well-known government figure twice in the head and chest as he was getting into his car. The attacker is still unidentified and no group has claimed responsibility. It's been a bloody week in Iran—on Wednesday, a gunman killed an Iranian state prosecutor in a region near the Pakistani border.
