A security video shows Jon Lewis Alexander, former four-tour Iraq vet/prison guard/private investigator/all-around badass, reacting calmly as a would-be robber points a gun at him while he works the counter at a liquor store in Marionville, Missouri. Alexander pushed the gun aside and quickly drew his own, inserting it into the man’s mouth, with a warning that he was ready to use it. Not surprisingly, the thief abandoned his mission and slowly backed away. When police told him he was lucky, Alexander said, “I think he [the robber] is a little luckier than I am.”
