Something tells us she shouldn't sweat this interview: After being forced to resign from the Agriculture Department, former Georgia Director of Rural Development for the Agriculture Department Shirley Sherrod will meet with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack Tuesday to discuss a job offer--the first in-person meeting of the two since Sherrod's departure. According to Sherrod, she's being offered the position of Deputy Director of the Office of Advocacy and Outreach. Sherrod had been forced to step down after conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart leaked online selectively edited footage of her speech at a NAACP convention that portrayed her as racist.
