Designer Isaac Mizrahi is making his curatorial debut with Summer Pictures at Julie Saul Gallery in New York’s Chelsea art district. Showing art that exudes expressive colors and a silver lining quality by people he likes, Mizrahi organized the group show over the past six months—adding curator to his long list of occupations, which includes fashion designer, TV personality, and blogger. Mizrahi says that the works by the artists in the show have inspired the designs for his own label and for the styles he fashions for Liz Claiborne, where he is creative director.
