ISIS has claimed responsibility for a car bomb on Friday that killed three people outside the U.S. consulate in Erbil, the capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan region. According to the U.S State Department, no U.S. personnel were hurt. It was a “vehicle-borne improvised explosive device,” the department said. ISIS also claimed it was behind the deaths of 27 people in Baghdad in two car bombings on Friday.
