ISIS Claims Responsibility for Manchester Attack

An online site connected to the Islamic State terror group claimed Tuesday that one of its members carried out the Manchester Ariana Grande concert bombing that killed 22 people and injured dozens more. In a post monitored by SITE intelligence analysts, the website declared that a “soldier of the caliphate” was responsible for the attack. Officials said Monday night that they suspected terrorism in the blast, which happened at about 10:30 p.m. after Grande finished her set. One suspect died in the bombing, and police announced hours later that a 23-year-old had also been arrested in connection to the explosion.
