A group of hackers purporting to be allied with ISIS disrupted the broadcast of a French TV channel, in their largest disruption to date. TV5Monde, which broadcasts in more than 200 countries, faced a three-hour blackout, and its sites were plastered with threats to French soldiers. The CyberCaliphate hacktivist collective has become notorious for attacking poorly guarded websites and social-media accounts belonging to local news outlets. Often, it posts low-level classified documents on the pages, passing them off as major hacks.
