ISIS Stones Couple Accused of Adultery

In public square in Mosul.

An Iraqi couple accused of adultery was reportedly stoned to death in a public square in Mosul on Tuesday by members of ISIS. No public trial was held. Both the man and woman, who was reportedly married, were in their twenties. “Twelve ISIS militants were standing there who had bags with them filled with stones, and they began throwing the stones at them, and after the third stone the woman was killed,” a witness told The New York Times, adding that the man died a short time later.
