ISIS has claimed responsibility for the fatal shooting of an Italian aid worker in Bangladesh’s capital, a group monitoring jihadi threats says. Cesare Tavella had been working in Dhaka on food-security issues for a church group since May. He was shot three times when gunmen rode up next to him on a motorcycle. If confirmed, this will be ISIS’s first attack in Bangladesh.
