A new massacre hit the northern part of Nigeria on Monday, as Islamists from the group Boko Haram stormed and set fire to a boarding school, murdering 29 students. "Some of the students' bodies were burned to ashes," Police Commissioner Sanusi Rufai said. The name “boko haram” translated from the northern Hausa language means “Western education is sinful.” The group has led multiple attacks on schools in the past.
