An Israeli police officer has been charged in the beating of a Palestinian-American teenager at a protest in July. Tariq Abu Khdeir of Tampa, Florida was severely beaten by a cop in east Jerusalem after his cousin, 16-year-old Mohammaed Abu khdeir, was burned to death by Israelis in revenge for the death of three Israeli teens who were killed in the West Bank. The outbreak of violence led to the Gaza War between Israel and Hamas.
