The body of Yehudit Weiss, one of the hundreds of hostages taken captive by Hamas on Oct. 7, was found in a building near the Al Shifa hospital in Gaza, Israel’s military said. Israeli officials said forensic examiners identified Weiss’ body and that her family had been informed. A cause of death was not identified.
