Israel is urging Egypt to remain calm despite its embassy in Cairo being mobbed early Saturday, causing its diplomats to flee and return to Israel. Egyptian protesters broke into the Israeli Embassy, and thousands more torched police vehicles in Cairo. Egyptian commandos had to rescue six Israeli security guards who were besieged by the angry mob. Relations are at their worse since Israeli troops killed five Egyptian policemen last month on a reported hunt for militants after a deadly attack. "It is in the interests of both the Israeli and Egyptian sides to restore relations between the two countries to normal, even if that is not simple," Israel's Home Front Defense Minister Matan Vilnai told Israeli Army Radio on Sunday.
