For what may have been the fifth time this year, Israeli warplanes attacked a military facility inside Syria. The targets are thought to be Russian missile weapons systems that were on their way to Hezbollah in Lebanon. According to an American official, the missile strike was probably launched via warplanes from inside Lebanese (rather than Syrian) airspace, because Syria has advanced air defense systems. The last strike was in July, and before that, two took place in May, and one in January.
