A closed-door meeting of Israel’s security cabinet ended with a statement categorically rejecting the new international nuclear deal framework with Iran. Under the agreement reached Thursday, Iran will cut the number of its uranium centrifuges by 70 percent and allow international monitoring for a decade. Israel has long maintained its opposition to such a deal, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying that any such arrangement poses a massive threat to Israel’s very survival.
