Fans of 90s hip-hop will undoubtedly know Ice Cube’s 1992 hit “It Was a Good Day,” a poignant chronicle of life in South Central L.A. Cube raps about not being hassled by police, sex with his girlfriend, and even the Goodyear Blimp inexplicably declaring him a pimp.

YouTubers Sean & Steve took the story of the song and made it a spoof of “30 for 30,” ESPN’s sports documentary series. They interview Cube’s friends, biographers and historians to recount his “good day,” which included a huge basketball win, and a breakfast free of pork products.

(NSFW WARNING: Brief profanity and sexuality.)
