The Kremlin responded to President Joe Biden calling Russian leader Vladimir Putin a “war criminal” on Wednesday, deeming the declaration “unforgivable.” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the Biden statement “unacceptable and unforgivable rhetoric,” according to the Russian state news agency TASS. On Wednesday afternoon, Biden told Fox News’ Jacqui Heinrich that Putin is, in his estimation, a “war criminal.”
🚨This marks the first time the administration has referred to the Russian President as a war criminal - until now, officials have shied away from that language.
