The Donald’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner welcomed their first child, a daughter, on Sunday in New York City. “This morning @jaredkushner and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world,” Ivanka tweeted. “We feel incredibly grateful and blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!" The proud grandfather and Celebrity Apprentice star told Fox & Friends via People that “the baby is beautiful” and that Ivanka is “doing great.” He added, “Arabella Rose is the baby's name,” which his daughter later confirmed via Twitter. Now comes the real challenge for Ivanka, who just a few days ago told People magazine, “I have enough anxiety about the type of mother I’m going to be and the nuances of being a parent.”

This week’s celebrity baby boom brought a new bundle of joy to Grammy nominee Jewel and her husband of three years, professional bull rider Ty Murray. The couple welcomed their first son, Kase Townes Murray, on Monday evening in Texas, a rep exclusively revealed to People magazine. "We are overcome with happiness ,” Jewel told the magazine. “It really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!" The 36-year-old singer, who struggled to get pregnant, found out she was expecting during her first day co-hosting Bravo’s Platinum Hit with Kara DioGuardi. Jewel has been readying for her baby and even has a new children’s album called The Merry Goes ‘Round, which will be released in August. Kase will surely not be short on lullabies!

Harper Seven joins the Beckhams’ oldest son, Brooklyn, 12; middle son, Romeo, 8; and youngest son, Cruz, 6. While some speculated that the name Harper was a tribute to Harper Lee, the author of To Kill a Mockingbird, People reports that Victoria has long loved the old English name. As for her middle name Seven, the famously lucky digit was also David’s jersey number from his days with the Manchester United soccer team. If the numerology is any indication, little Harper, born at 7 pounds on the seventh day of the week in the seventh hour of the seventh month, will be a very fortunate baby. One thing’s for certain—she’ll have the best wardrobe at the nursery, thanks to her designer mom.

Hudson and her fiancé, Matthew Bellamy—the frontman of Muse who is a first time dad—mulled over what to name the 7-pound, 12-ounce baby, who joined Hudson’s only other child, 7-year-old Ryder Russell, fathered by her first husband, rocker Chris Robinson. On July 14, Bellamy announced via Twitter that they named their baby Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy. The proud father went on to explain the family connections in the baby's name: Bingham is Bellamy's mom's maiden name, Bing Russell was the name of the dad of Hudson's longtime father figure, Kurt Russell, and Hawn is obviously Kate's mother's last name. "Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!" Bellamy tweeted.

The Israel-born actress and Millepied named their son Aleph, after the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, according to People. “I think it’s a Jewish thing to be kind of superstitious,” Portman told Access Hollywood in April. “You don’t do any of the baby stuff before the baby arrives.”

Months before the baby boy entered the world, Sabàto Jr. and Nunes picked out his first name (which he shares with his father and grandfather) and added two middle names: Harvey and Kamakanaalohamaikalani, which means “a beloved gift from the heavens” in Hawaiian, reflective of Nunes’s background. "The family is thrilled about the new addition," a rep told People when they announced her pregnancy in January. Something tells us Antonio III may not be as thrilled about writing his 22-letter middle name when he has to fill out official documents when he grows up.

The couple named their son Moroccan Scott, paying homage to Carey’s New York apartment’s Moroccan-themed room, which was the site of Cannon’s proposal, and they named their daughter Monroe, inspired by the late Marilyn. While Monroe is without middle name, Scott pays tribute to Cannon’s grandmother. Though they’ve kept the babies out of the spotlight, the 42-year-old songstress and her 30-year-old entertainer husband have been tweeting up a storm. Cannon calls the twins “Roc & Roe” and Carey tweeted this glimpse of Monroe, who is seemingly following in her mom’s diva footsteps, long before she can walk.

The couple was “excited and proud,” according to a statement to People from Collette’s rep, who added: "He was born on Good Friday making it the greatest Friday, indeed!" Just a month later, a fit Collette was seen walking and cradling Arlo in her arms.
