It’s still not official, but sources tell TMZ that Jennifer Lopez has signed a one-year, $12 million contract with American Idol. The length is a bit of a surprise, and an indication that the producers are a bit skeptical of Lopez. Earlier, Nikki Finke at Deadline Hollywood had a list of J-Lo’s supposed “diva demands,” which included that she be given guaranteed motion-pictue and television-pilot deals from Fox. (Fox rejected those demands.) TMZ says Lopez will be at the judges table when Idol begins filming next week.
