Jennifer Lopez is quickly building her résumé in 2010, as CBS revealed Wednesday that the triple threat will join the cast of How I Met Your Mother. A former romantic comedienne and Fly Girl on In Living Color, Lopez is eager to resume her acting career after giving birth to twins in 2008—it was announced last week that she would also appear on Fox’s breakout hit Glee. On How I Met Your Mother, the now-40-year-old mom will take on the role of a self-help book author who teaches women how to tame men through the power of denial. In her upcoming March episode, Lopez’s character meets the show’s notorious womanizer, played by Neil Patrick Harris, and is determined to break him of his habits. “We’re looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves,” Mother’s creator and executive producer joked about the upcoming guest star.
