Detractors have criticized the offspring of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith for being too precious, too precocious—or just too present. But the latest salvo from Jaden and Willow Smith is likely to just leave many scratching their heads. In an interview with The New York Times, the sibling talents, who both have new albums out this month, offer often elusive wisdom. Sample nuggets: From Willow, 14: “...Time for me, I can make it go slow or fast, however I please, and that’s how I know it doesn’t exist.” From Jaden, 16: “School is not authentic because it ends.” Willow notes that, “There’re no novels that I like to read so I write my own novels.” Jaden says his goal is to be “the most craziest person of all time.” And so on.
