Former FBI director James Comey is writing a book about his years in public service, including his time working in the Trump administration before being fired. Instead of a conventional memoir, the book is being pitched to publishers as an exploration of the principles that have guided Comey throughout his legal career. The book will touch on the former FBI director's investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server, as well as his brief tenure in the Trump administration and the FBI's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. President Obama signed a multi-million dollar book deal with Penguin Random House in March.
