James Franco Sued by Prof.

James Franco is a man of many hats: actor, writer, director, student, artist. Now, he can add another: defendant. The Pineapple Express star is being sued by his former NYU film professor for defamation. Jose Angel Santana claims that Franco defamed him after he gave the actor a “D” in a course. “Whoever was in Clint Eastwood’s chair at the Republican National Convention was more present than Mr. Franco was in my classes,” Santana said. Franco reportedly missed 12 of the 14 classes, and told reporters, “I didn’t feel like I needed to waste my time with a bad teacher.”
