Janet Jackson announced Thursday she is postponing her Unbreakable world tour due to surgery. The singer kicked off her world tour in Vancouver in August and it was slated to pick up in Denver on Jan. 9. “It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable tour until the spring,” Jackson wrote on Instagram. The pop star said that each date would be rescheduled and told fans to hold on to their tickets. “They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced,” she said. Jackson declined to say what kind of surgery she would be undergoing and said there ”will be no further comment” aside from the announcement.
