Janice Min Leaves US Weekly

Despite leading US Weekly for a successful six years, editor-in-chief Janice Min has decided to call it quits, not renewing her contract that expires next week. It was under Min that US Magazine became the number two celebrity magazine (behind People) and became recognized as one of the more journalistically sound tabloid publications. Said Min to her staff, “In short, I decided it was time to try something else in my life,” adding, “There are no immediate plans, except to enjoy the month of August, take some tennis lessons, and maybe finally edit my wedding album."
