Japan’s new trade minister admitted Thursday that his office spent money at a sadomasochistic bar in Hiroshima. Yoichi Miyazawa says he was not in attendance though. He succeeded a minister who resigned Monday because of a spending scandal. The government officials spent roughly $170 at the club in 2010. At the bar, women are dressed in underwear and then tied up with ropes and whipped. Miyazawa is the nephew of former Prime Minister Kiichi Miyazawa and is the cousin of the current foreign minister.
