A 16-year-old Japanese girl was arrested on suspicion of murdering a classmate by hitting her repeatedly, strangling her, and then dismembering her body. The girl, who is yet unnamed, admitted to killing her fellow student and leaving the body in a bed in her apartment where she lives alone. “I have no words to say now. I am overwhelmed by sadness, regret, and various feelings,” the principal of the school that both girls attended said in a press conference.
