Disgraced sandwich pitch man/alleged child rapist Jared Fogle is facing years in prison for his admissions that he paid for sex with minors and peddled in child pornography. On Thursday night and Friday, journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond will unveil audio recordings via the Dr. Phil show from the years she spent “role playing” with Fogle, coercing him via a false friendship to discuss his perverse interest in children.
It is, obviously, disturbing.
At one point, Fogle described to Herman-Walrond how they could separate a child from a pool party to have sex with
“Well, if we got them—got them segregated out, you know, in this thing where it’s just the three of us, you know, we sort of, you know, we just sort of start talking or whatever and we just start sharing stories and then, you know, we get a little closer, and a little closer, and a little closer, and before you know it, you know, it’s, you know, it just starts to happen.”
Fogle adds that it is easier to seduce children from a broken home.
"He talks about how to groom a family, he talks about how to groom the victim, he talks about all the things he does, the tricks of his trade," Dr. Phil said. "He just basically gives you the playbook of an evil monster."
Fogle, himself a father of two kids, is facing between five and 12 years behind bars at his sentencing Nov. 19, and he has paid over a million dollars to a dozen of his victims. Hear some of the damning testimony in the clip above.
