The Bush family blowback continued Thursday afternoon as Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush defended his older brother George W. Bush regarding quotes from their father George H.W. Bush about certain hawkish advisers W. surrounded himself with during his presidency. In a new book from Jon Meacham, G.H.W. is quoted as calling former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld “an arrogant fellow,” and former VP Dick Cheney an “iron-ass.”
In response, Jeb said George is "a big boy" and suggested that "my dad, like a lot of people that love George, want to try to create a different narrative, perhaps just to—just 'cause that's natural to do, right?"
