Jeff Gaspin out as part of Comcast merger, THR reveals.
Longtime NBC Universal Television Entertainment Chairman Jeff Gaspin will be departing as part of the merger with Comcast, sources exclusively revealed to The Hollywood Reporter Wednesday. Gaspin, who served as a well-liked NBC Universal executive before becoming the chairman of the Television Entertainment division in July 2009, is not part of Comcast’s reorganization of the company. Gaspin was in Washington, D.C., to see Tina Fey receive the Mark Twain Prize for Humor at the Kennedy Center on Tuesday and could not be reached for comment.
