Former Arkansas State Senator Jeremy Young Hutchinson and two former executives of Missouri-based charity Preferred Family Healthcare Inc. were on Thursday indicted by a federal grand jury for their alleged roles in a multimillion-dollar public corruption scheme, the Department of Justice announced. Hutchinson—the son of former U.S. Sen. Tim Hutchinson (R-AR)—along with Bontiea Bernedette Goss and her husband, Tommy Ray Goss, were charged in the 32-count indictment in Springfield. The indictment claims that the Gosses and Hutchinson “participated in a conspiracy” to “embezzle and misapply the funds of a charitable organization that received federal funds, to pay bribes and kickbacks to elected officials.”
