The New York City Medical Examiner’s Office has added a 63-year-old man to the list of people killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Jerry Borg died n Dec. 15 from complications of pulmonary sarcoidosis, a lung disease that was caused by inhaling dust during the collapse of the Twin Towers. Borg’s death was listed as a homicide, bringing the official death toll to 2,753. Only two other deaths have officially been ruled as being caused by such exposure. A spokesman for the National September 11 Memorial and Museum said Borg’s name would be added to the memorial in time for the 10th anniversary of the attacks in September.
