Jerry Lee Lewis is alive and well despite TMZ reporting earlier Wednesday that he had died in Memphis. The outlet said it was “told by someone claiming to be Lewis’ rep that he had passed. That turned out not to be the case.” Multiple media outlets, included The Daily Beast, published the news citing TMZ. The outlet says it regrets the error.
