Jessica Chastain Fails to Read the Room With $15 JetBlue Credit Fight

NOT THE BEST DAY

“My flight was $1,500 and the credit is 1/100 of the money I paid you,” the actress moaned.

Academy Award winner Jessica Chastain tweeted and then deleted a complaint that she was given a $15 credit for a JetBlue flight she said cost her $1,500. Chastain wrote, “My flight was $1,500 and the credit is 1/100 of the money I paid you. Strange that I paid that for your flight entertainment system that didn't work for the duration of my 6hr flight, but I guess it was worth it for this $15 credit.” The actress followed up by posting screenshots of her exchange with JetBlue’s customer service team, who said the $15 credit was issued to all impacted passengers. She suggested to them she should get more “since I have a TrueBlue account and have been a loyal customer.” Social media commenters didn’t think it was especially appropriate for a movie star to complain about $15 on a day when parts of the U.S. are reeling from back-to-back hurricanes. “Jessica i love you but please read the room 😭😭,” wrote one.
