After "weight battle," forgets lyrics and cries at show.
Is Jessica Simpson's very public "weight battle" a sign that more is amiss? The Associated Press reports on her "bizarre 38-minute set" last night in Grand Rapids, Michigan, during which she "forgot her lyrics, struggled with her ear monitors, mumbled through songs and fought back tears." She also apologized to fans and "said she sometimes feels like quitting." The "off night," as her publicist put it, is likely to compound negative press surrounding Simpson's recent weight gain.
