So much for a simple, moral life. Luang Pu Nenkham, Thailand’s “jet-set monk,” has been stripped of his religious leadership after investigators uncovered a laundry list of his assets, including 83 automobiles and condominiums—and that’s not all. Nenhkam is also facing charges of violating Thailand’s computer-crime laws by posting “deceitful information” and of having sex with a minor and rape, authorities say. The asset discovery came about after a video reportedly documented by another monk showed up on YouTube roughly two months ago, according to CNN. Authorities are also suspicious of nearly $10 million that has recently disappeared from Nenkham’s bank accounts.
