This slide exit wasn't nearly as great as infamous ex-JetBlue employee Stephen Slater's. On Thursday, a JetBlue flight had a hard landing at a Sacramento airport, causing the plane’s tires to catch on fire. After disembarking the aircraft on emergency slides, the 87 passengers were taken to the terminal on buses. Fifteen people on board suffered minor injuries; five were later taken to the hospital. “There was no time for the flight attendants to give us any instructions,” one passenger said. The incident is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.
