OUT WITH THE OLD

Jets to Name Todd Bowles as Head Coach

The New York Jets hired former Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles to replace Rex Ryan as their new head coach, according to several reports Tuesday. Bowles texted ESPN's Josina Anderson that he was accepting the offer, just four hours after the Jets announced the hire of Mike Maccagnan as general manager. Bowles is expected to sign a four-year deal, making slightly more than $4 million annually, according to ESPN. The 51-year-old New Jersey native and former Jets assistant is expected to make the announcement Wednesday.
