Prominent terror groups across the Middle East and Africa say they plan on using President-elect Donald Trump’s rhetoric as part of their recruitment efforts worldwide. “This guy is a complete maniac,” said Abu Omar Khorasani, an ISIS commander in Afghanistan. “His utter hate toward Muslims will make our job much easier because we can recruit thousands.” On the campaign trail, Trump often bemoaned the influence of “radical Islamic terrorism” and proposed banning Muslims from entering the U.S. “He does not differentiate between extremist and moderate Islamist trends and, at the same time, he overlooks [the fact] that his extremism will generate extremism in return,” said Moqtada al-Sadr, the influential Iraqi Shiite Muslim cleric.
