Former President Jimmy Carter was taken to Cleveland's Metro Health Hospital on Tuesday. The 39th U.S. president was en route to Cleveland via plane when he became airsick, according to CBS News. A public information officer for Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Jackie Mayo said that paramedics met Carter's plane when it landed and that he was admitted around 11:30 a.m. eastern standard time.
