Well, now he has and it turns out we were duped! Not by the notorious funny man himself, but by his friend and fellow comedian Jeffrey Ross, who started the rumor via Twitter that Kimmel had bought the painting for him as a gift. "Contrary to 'news' reports, I didn't buy the Bea Arthur painting - not even for @realjeffreyross - but I did buy the Mona Lisa Lampanelli," Kimmel tweeted Friday night.
