Jimmy Kimmel Pulls Off Halloween Candy Prank for 5th Straight Year, Brings America’s Kids to Tears

        'YOU DID?!'

Once again, Jimmy Kimmel convinced hundreds of parents to lie to their children’s faces about eating all their Halloween candy—and then capture the magic on video.

“We never seem to run out of participants for this,” Jimmy Kimmel remarked during the introduction of his fifth annual “I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy” YouTube challenge video Monday night.

Yet somehow, every year there are new children whose unusually cruel parents watch Jimmy Kimmel Live without them and feel the need to lie to their faces on camera for the whole world to see.

This year’s crop had the typical variety of responses, from the sobbing child who tells his mother, “If I see no candy, you’re in big trouble, young lady,” to the disturbingly understanding boy who simply says, “It’s all right.”

Then there were the kids who knew exactly what was going on: “Sorry, Jimmy, we’re not falling for it.”
