Joan Rivers was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York after she stopped breathing during throat surgery at a nearby clinic Thursday morning. Rivers reportedly went into cardiac arrest but is now in stable condition. The 81-year-old was reportedly having her vocal chords operated on. Her daughter, Melissa Rivers, is reportedly en route to New York. In July, The Daily Beast asked Rivers if she thinks about her own death. "Constantly. In your 80s, you’d be foolish not to think about that."
