Losing his challenge to incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski in Alaska isn’t stopping Tea Party candidate Joe Miller from keeping the race alive. Though the last ballots were counted over a week ago and Murkowski was declared the winner with over 40 percent of the vote, Miller has mounted several legal challenges and continues to claim he won. After Murkowski fell to Miller in the GOP primary, she mounted a successful write-in campaign that won her the race. Miller is complaining because election officials accepted slight misspellings of her name and reviewed all her ballots by hand. "Lisa Murkowski's were counted by hand,” a Miller campaign spokesman said. “If Miller's ballots were given the same review, he will likely gain numerous votes.”
