A 32-year-old runner died Saturday morning after crossing the finish line at the Brooklyn Half Marathon, investigators say. The NYPD reports that David Reichman, a Brooklyn resident, possibly suffered cardiac arrest around 9 a.m. after finishing the race. The New York Post reports that 22,000 runners participate in the run, which winds through the borough past the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park. The runner was rushed to Coney Island Hospital where he was confirmed dead, police say.
