Can’t get enough of British media scandals? You’re in luck! The Johann Hari case has taken another interesting turn with the Independent newspaper suspending the well-known columnist. If you’ve lost track of the case after all the Murdoch news, Hari is accused of taking quotes from books and other interviews and putting them in the mouths of his own interview subjects—which he claimed he did only for clarity, while acknowledging an “error of judgment.” He’ll be suspended for two months while the paper conducts an internal investigation.
