Director John Waters left his hometown of Baltimore to head to Boston, where his friend, artist Roni Horn, is being featured in a new exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art. “I don’t like easy art and this is anything but easy,’’ Waters said. One of his favorite Horn projects, “This Is Me, This Is You,’’ a collection of photographs of her niece, is now on display at the ICA. Despite being an avid contemporary art collector, Waters admitted he doesn’t have any Horn works in his personal collection; apart from those she gave him as gifts. “I wish I did,’’ he said. “I can’t afford them.’’
