Jon Stewart Mocks Rick Sanchez

After CNN host was fired for anti-Semitic remarks.

Jon Stewart is not afraid to kick a man when he’s down: On Monday, The Daily Show host took on former CNN anchor Rick Sanchez, who was fired last week for comments including that Stewart is a “bigot” and saying Jews ran the media. Stewart said he was angry when he heard Sanchez’s comments because The Daily Show doesn’t film on Fridays, meaning he had to wait until Monday to make jest of the matter, “and there's no way this cat survives the weekend at CNN." He also spliced clips of Sanchez’s interactions with coworkers with similar clips of Steve Carell on The Office. "Carell is leaving The Office, NBC is looking to replace him," Stewart said. "Sanchez is available!"
